A type of super-abrasive

Zirconia Alumina is a kind of abrasive . It is a kind of super-abrasive for coated abrasives ,I think. This type of abrasive has a unique self-sharpening feature that gives them long life on rugged stock removal operations. Thus, Zirconia alumina is fantastically suited for heavy grinding of metals and planing of wood, because the controlled fracturing of the grain continuously produces sharp, new abrading points.  ZA used to make grinding wheel , but it has been used to apply in the coated abrasives since 90s.

                      A  Boy and Sandpaper

There is a garden in the working place of his Dad, where located at the front of the workshop building and the garden planted lots of apple trees .  Thus, it is another reason for Xiao why he like went to the factory of his dad at summer time. Xiao always meet a person who names Mr.s Zhao qinghe , is a supervisor at the sandpaper workshop . In the Xiao view, Mr’s Zhao is a nice person when Xiao does not understand what supervisor is and Xaio just knew Mr.s Zhao is his dad’s master. In fact,  Mr.s Zhao is a leader (the level like a senior manager today ) in the sandpaper workshop who has the rich production management of experience for abrasive products ,managed approximate over hundred employee at this workshop. Xiao called Mr.s Zhao for “bobo” that meaning is the “Uncle”. 

There is a very comfortable sofa at the Uncle Zhao’s office; Xiao likes to sit on the sofa when Xiao went to Uncle Zhao’s office. Once, Xiao went to factory with his dad and Xiao  still went to Uncle Zhao’s office to say hello for Mr.s  Zhao . 

“ Good evening  Uncle Zhao” Xiao said and standing at the door of Office . “Oh, Xiao, why you did not stay at home, instead of come to factory “ Uncle Zhao asked. 

 

Xiao said that “ My mum also working today and Dad too, I afraid stay at home by myself “ Uncle Zhao laughing and said “coming in sit on the sofa “ . Uncle Zhao asked : “what is your dram? Xaio” ;  Xiao thinking a moment  said ” I want to be a worker to manufacturing sanding cloth or sandpaper “ ; Actually, Xiao does not know what is sanding cloth and sandpaper when Xiao answered to Uncle Zhao.  Uncle Zhao continues asked “ Do you know what sanding cloth using for ?” Xiao said that I know this is grinding for something only. “Yes, it can grinding and polishing woodworking, furniture and the metal work piece” Uncle Zhao answered.  “Xiao， what is your dream “ Uncle Zhao asked. Xiao think a moment after he answered “ I want to sell sandpaper to be an excellent abrasives man”  when I grow up . The calendar was 1984

I am busy recently, Super tired ! Anyway, Let we continuously illustrate what is black abrasive grits.

Silicon carbide is the hardest and sharpest of grinding materials,which  is a kind of abrasive materials and commonly applying to at coated abrasives. Silicon carbides' toughness and sharpness make it the ideal abrasives for finishing non-ferrous metals (aluminum,brass, bronze, magnesium, titanium,etc.), rubber,glass,plastics,fibrous woods,enamel and the other relative soft materials. It is also the grit of choice for producing certain finishes on stainless steel. Silicon carbide is superior to any other abrasive in its stability to penetrate and cut faster under light pressure.As a result, silicon carbide materials applying to grinding and polishing stainless steel and hardness wood.
